Patrik Červák (*1992, České Budějovice) is a conductor, pianist and music theorist. He graduated from the conservatory in České Budějovice (piano and clarinet) and high school.

He completed his master's degree in musicology.
at the Faculty of Arts, Masaryk University, conducting at the Janáček Academy
of Performing Arts in Brno in the class of doc. MgA. Jakub Klecker. He is currently continuing his
doctoral studies in musicology at the Faculty of Arts, MU.
As a pianist with the Francisextet ensemble, he performed at important festivals in the Czech Republic (Smetana
Litomyšl, MHF Český Krumlov, Třeboň Nocturne, etc.) and abroad (Austria, Germany,
France). He also collaborated with the Husa na provázku theatre and recorded with the Brno Philharmonic as
external pianist several CDs (including music by Jan Novák and Philip Glass). In 2024 he performed at
Prague Spring as part of a performance of Georg Friedrich Haas's 11,000 Strings and as a piano piece
The soloist has already appeared several times, for example with the South Bohemian Philharmonic or the Ensemble Opera

In the field of conducting, he regularly presents himself at educational, subscription and crossover events.

Carmelite Francis Poulenc and an adapted version of his opera La voix humaine as part of the festival
Moravian autumn.
At the South Bohemian Theatre, he performed Mozart's opera Così fan tutte (translated as "All Things Are So") as the principal conductor.
Jaromír Nohavica) and as second conductor he participated in the preparation of the successful production of Mefistofeles
Arriga Boita directed by Tomáš Ondřej Pilař.
He completed conducting courses and masterclasses under the guidance of prominent figures such as Tomáš
Netopil, Mark Stringer, Dennis Russell Davies or Tomáš Hanus.
He currently teaches music theory and practical music subjects at the Brno Conservatory and at
music high school in České Budějovice.
Interpretatively and theoretically, he focuses primarily on French music of the first half of the 20th century and
issues of neoclassicism, especially the work of Francis Poulenc and other members of the Paris Six.
As a scholar and performer, he also specializes in the works of Claude Debussy, Erik Satie, Igor
Stravinsky, Bohuslav Martinů, Aaron Copland and Dmitri Shostakovich.
